PROFESSIONAL WARDROBE AND IMAGE CONSULTING: Are you ready to put your best foot forward? Are you poised for employment? WHW’s “Unique Boutique” is fully stocked with an array of styles, colors and sizes from 0 – 8X. The clothing provided to all clients referred from non-profits is donated from some of the best dressed women in Orange County. Upon arrival at the boutique, the first thing clients will notice are the beautiful displays of complete outfits fully accessorized so that she can “see” how she might look after our personal shoppers assist her in the boutique.
Computer Lab
COMPUTER TRAINING:
WHW offers one-on-one computer instruction in a safe, non-threatening environment. Clients can choose to work independently utilizing a tutorial or be assisted by an instructional assistant to learn basic keyboarding or any Microsoft Office program. From beginning all the way to advanced skills training, WHW will be there to support your goals.
Job Development & Placement
WHW knew that there was more to job search than just a beautiful outfit; that is why the employment success program was begun. Our Job Developer works one-on-one with clients to create a polished resume, master interview questions and provide leads and follow-up for the perfect job! Employment Success Workshops
A series of interactive, hands-on workshops help educate the job seeker and raise awareness in consumers. “Putting Your Best Foot Forward” explains how to dress for your body type, employ smart shopping strategies and how to build a basic wardrobe. The 1-1/2 hour “Financial Literacy” class stresses the how-to’s of credit, budgeting and being a smart consumer. “Skills for the Re-emerging or New Worker” is a must for job seekers and those needing a “refresher” in the new American workplace.
